Heather L. Sings is the artist behind HLSingsArtistry, a handmade ceramics studio based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Working primarily with clay, Heather creates functional and decorative pottery that blends thoughtful design with everyday usefulness. Her work includes soap dishes, berry bowls, sconces, pie pans, and serving trays Heather incorporates slip casting into her practice to achieve clean forms and consistent quality, allowing each piece to serve as a reliable foundation for artistic expression. She further enhances her work using ceramic transfers, layering imagery and surface details that add character, narrative, and visual interest to each finished piece.

I design, hand build, and hand paint ceramic art tiles and wheel thrown forms. I am equally excited to create my own art pieces or to work with a buyer who describes an idea, and we work together to develop an exciting art piece.

I make handmade ceramics with love! My ceramics tend to be fun and colorful, but I also create more neutral colored pieces. I love to incorporate nature into my pieces, whether it’s painting flowers on a mug or making little ladybug pins. I make mugs, magnets, pins, and keychains!

I have been working with Clay for many years. I enjoy both wheel-throwing and hand building. I am an Instructor at Earth Center Pottery where I enjoy watching and mentoring my students, seeing them grow with their skill level as well as their creativity.

Artist

I design and create wheel thrown functional pottery in my Glenside, PA studio. My design aesthetic is minimalist, enhanced with texture and glazes to bring the surface to life with movement and depth. My collection includes bowls of various functions such as chopstick bowls, ergonomic mixing and serving bowls, berry bowls/strainers and more, mugs, plates and platters, cheese trays, booksends and more.

Mossy Hollow Pottery is a one potter small business inspired by the whimsy of nature! Handcrafted pottery including mugs, sculptures, pins and fun seasonal pieces! Located outside of New Hope, PA.

I create functional ceramic pottery and mosaics infused with touches of the natural world in earthy colors and botanical imagery. My framed mosaic wall-hangings are created with foraged wild clays and glazed with found materials like rocks, plant ashes, recycled glass, and ceramic waste. My mini oil paintings, painted on reclaimed wood scraps, depict the natural landscapes I’ve traveled to and collected natural ceramic materials from. My work spans several mediums, yet carries through a deep consideration for sustainability while maintaining a closed loop waste system throughout my studio practice.
