Jenkintown Festival of the Arts

The OYRGC was founded in 1935 and federated in 1937, and belongs to District XI of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania & National Garden Clubs Inc. This is our statement of purpose: “The object of this organization shall be to promote interest in the art of gardening, to aid in the protection of native trees, plants, and birds, and to encourage civic planning.” We meet on the second Thursday of the month at Grace Presbyterian Church, 444 Old York Road (Old York and Vista Roads) in Jenkintown, PA 19046. Our meetings feature a lecture or gardening demonstration and are free and open to the public, and members may participate in a judged show of floral designs and horticulture specimens from their gardens.
